Around RowHouse this week....
The menu the week before Memorial Day is what I refer to as "The Summer BBQ Menu." We try to focus in on dishes and ideas that you may want to use at one of your summer gatherings. These are foods that would be great lakeside, or at a family function. The entrees are surrounded by lots of sides and meant to be mixed and matched. Desserts are a little traditional with a lot of whimsy. These popsicles are sure to be a hit with kids and adults.
Our menu the week after this May 29 - Jun 1, is our "Chicago" menu. We are taking cues from our weekend in the city and bringing them to your plates. I'll have a list of the many restaurants we made it to and links in the coming week. We are feeling pretty inspired and with Anna leaving for the summer we are really going to be working hard to make this special.
Desserts in the garden has been awesome. Please enjoy and feel free to make use of all the benches. Lots of flowers, vegetables, and herbs to look at. Dave has been working so hard back there, it's like stepping through the rabbit hole and into Wonderland.
Have a great week. Thanks for being here! |

When making reservations please know the house has three levels and many unique dining rooms. The main floor is handicap accessible, but the top floor and garden level do have stairs. We try to honor table and floor request but are not always able to do so because of limited space for large groups. If you have a specific table or room you'd like, please let us know when making your reservation and we will do our best to make it happen. We are contantly looking for ways to make your evening with us even better. One of us is on staff at RowHouse Wednesday through Saturday from 2 pm to Close. We return calls Tuesday through Saturday in the order received. We have someone in the office Tuesday from 2p - 4p, in addition to our regular schedule.
We have a lovely winelist, Premium Liquors, awesome cocktails, and great beers. Wine and Alcohol cannot be brought in to the restaurant as of April 1, 2011
