We at RowHouse are always working towards making your experiences here new and out of the ordinary.  Our menus are a collaborative effort, taking into account the ideas from the kitchen crew, the front of house staff, and you our guests.  Each week we taste and see what we hope will intrigue and bring you in.  For me, this method is what makes our magic.  We host events we want to attend because that will create events you enjoy.  This is the time of year we shake off the Winter sleep and start growing and showing.  We’d love to see you at our POP UP! GardenBar Happy Hours in April and May.  We’d love to see you during our First Friday Concerts in the Summer.  And we’d love you to take a stroll through our Garden anytime the notion strikes you.  We want you comfortable, nourished, entertained, and loved so you can spread the word and the good vibes.  Thanks for being here!  Bring your friends!

Welcome, friends

RowHouse Restaurant opened its doors in 2007 with a simple idea—to grow and spread love by bringing a fresh and inspired dining experience to Kansans and visitors alike.

Steps from the Kansas State Capitol Grounds, the once dilapidated historic site at 515 Van Buren St. was transformed by Owner and Chef, Greg Fox, into a fine dining venue. Greg is a native Kansan who is inspired by his roots. He draws from being raised in a family of cooks and bakersalong with his culinary experience in New York City and Nashvilleto bring something unexpected, yet familiar, to the table. He and the RowHouse crew serve up dishes made with equal measures of love and finesse—and you can taste it.

The Evening prix-fixe "tasting" menu is seasonally driven and changes weekly. Many of the menu items are made with local ingredients—often from the RowHouse garden. RowHouse strives to create a welcoming experience that cherishes its history and deliciously evolves. We invite you to join us!  

Beginning November of 2017, RowHouse introduces Lunch, Monday Thru Friday, Seating anytime after 11am and until 2pm.  Our Lunch menu is posted in our Menus section of the website, under Explore other menus.   We hope to bring you an uncommon, enlightened, and deliciously unparalleled lunch experience.  The menu adjust seasonally, but remains mostly intact.  We hope to become the place you go twice a week for lunch.
